Geotaria

About Geotaria: who makes it and why

Geotaria is made by Isaac, a student from Spain who loves geography: a free site to learn countries, regions and flags by playing.

Who is behind Geotaria

Hi, I'm Isaac. I'm from Spain, and I make Geotaria on my own while I study.

I love geography, and I saw a great chance to build a site that gives something back to the people who share that: a place to play with maps for free, with nothing to download and no need to sign up.

What I like most is the multiplayer: challenging a friend on the same map. And then the variety and how simple it is: the countries of the world, the regions and provinces of each country, the flags… it all works the same way: you type a name and the map fills in.

I'd like people to use it to learn. If Geotaria helps you with an exam, to place a country you could never find, or just to spend a while with a map, it has done its job.
